Frequently Asked Questions
Does American Jetway have anything to do with the FAA or any specific airline? Many people have asked me this over the years. While American Jetway does manufacture products that do end up in airline hangars, we do not have any affiliations with the Airline Transportation Industry.
Are your products California (CARB), LADCO and OTC compliant? A couple of years ago we were presented with a number of VOC regulations on a number of chemicals that were to be sold to both the OTC and CARB affected areas.. With the combined knowledge of three chemists and our newly revamped Regulatory Department, we were able to formulate an entire line of compliant products. We can honestly say that we have VOC Compliant Products for the affected states. In addition to meeting the ever evolving VOC demands of the United States, American Jetway has also formulated products that meet the increasing demands of Canada and Europe (REACH). Does American Jetway have their own brand in the marketplace? The answer to this question is an emphatic NO! We have taken the approach that we will not compete with our own customers. It would not make sense for us to undersell our own customers to sell additional cans. Our goal has always been to help our customers to increase their market share, thereby increasing the amount of cans we sell to them.
Is American Jetway an ISO 9000 company? American Jetway follows all of the ISO 9000 guidelines and runs for ISO 9000 companies, but is not ISO 9000 certified.
What is the minimum order that Jetway will run? American Jetway takes the approach that whatever yield a 55 gallon drum will have is what we will run. Rule of thumb is 600 cans or 50 case minimums. When filling gallons we will run 55 one gallon containers. When running 5 gallon pails, we will run 11 pails at a given time.
